Congratulations Brina, Courtney and Nicole!
This past weekend we had three different weddings to do. Luckily they fell on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we had plenty of time to get everything done.
This past weekend we had three different weddings to do. Luckily they fell on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we had plenty of time to get everything done.
The first event was for an awesome couple that wanted their wedding to be very personal. They are a fun loving, easy going pair who have filled their home with one of a kind finds they have collected over the years as they travelled around the world. They knew that they didn't want their wedding to be like any others and made choices to ensure they stood out.
The bride carried white and peach to match the girls dresses and was wrapped with a scrap of the dark coral material from a few of those dresses.
Pretty Poppy Pods |
To match his blushing bride, the bridegroom got a boutonniere of a poppy pod and peach hypericum berries. I was a little nervous for this one because we didn't talk about the options beforehand and I couldn't resist making this up for him. Thankfully Chad was totally into it and didn't want to wear the back up one I had on stand by!
Also finished with left over bride's maid material. |
There were eight brides maids, a Junior Bride's maid and two flower girls. The bouquets for the girls were all white with dark greenery.
The couple was very thoughtful in recognizing the important people in their lives. Aside from parents and grandparents they also had personal flowers made for sisters, cousins and siblings significant others not in the wedding party.

Sister's Wristlet |
The venue was The Gates On Roblin and the guest list topped 230. As a result we had 25 guest tables and 10 cocktails to decorate. For table centers we designed the look around vintage vases and the colours of the wedding which ranged from peach to coral and every shade in between. Each table had a different combination of vases grouped in threes and fives sitting on top of slate tiles. The groupings were all colour blocked and the blooms consisted of roses, alstromeria, hypericum berries, freesia, veronica, hydrangea, aster and gladiolas.
Sample of Table Center |
The perfect flower for summer weddings. They come in almost every colour and add height to any arrangement |
Two large accent pieces sat on our brand spanking new pillars and a grapevine wreath with seeded eucalyptus completed the arch.
Natural ceremony flowers work well to highlight natures beauty, not compete with it. |
The girls looked stunning in dresses custom made by the ultra talented Jill of Tony Chestnut and Freshair was responsible for the wedding day beauty. As soon as the Photog has pics up I will share the link so that you can see the stunning women yourself. My pictures don't do that work justice.
That's it for now. There are two other events to add to the blog and I will all in good time. The weekend has been long and yesterday brought some wonderfully exciting news that we will also share very, very soon.
Our signature bathroom blooms. This time they matched the bride! |
Congratulations again, Brina and Chad. Enjoy your honeymoon
