A second Purple Wedding

Congratulations Cheri!
Last weekend in the sweltering heat Cheri said I do during a ceremony at Fort Whyte Alive

Working with Cheri was such a breeze.  She took a look at our website and fell in love with a purple mix bouquet I did last year.  We made a few slight changes and came up with this for her.

She had two maids stand up for her that day and they carried a mix of Vandella roses, purple waxflower and mokara blooms
No small posies for these girls.  Both maids had very generous sized bouquets
One of her favorite parts of the whole floral package was the ultra feminine corset style wrap of the bridal bouquet

Cheri's baby is her dog, Zoe.  Since she was part of the ceremony she also got a floral piece to wear.  We don't have pictures from her yet but here is a shot of my dog Lucy trying it on for size.
A bit big but still fabulous!!

The groom and his son both had matching bouts of a mokara bloom and wax flower.
The flower girl got a pomander or kissing ball of white mums and mokara blooms.
Pretty pearl pins and purple ribbon finished it off

The ceremony took place on the patio area of Fort Whyte over looking the lake.  As I was setting up there were sailboats gliding by and kids fishing off the banks of the water.  It was by far the most serene set up I have ever done!  We made some large accent pieces that sat on pillars to flank the bride and groom as they said their vows.

Cheri, we can't wait to see pictures of you in your dress and of course of Zoe in her flower collar.  Thank you for including us in your day!!
