That was The theme of the past weekend's wedding. Laine was the stunning bride that came up with some awesome DIY projects to make it come to life.
We met this bride through her maid of honor and sat down with her a few months before the big day to talk flowers. She described the day as being fun, laid back and unique. I would say that all those adjectives could describe the bride herself too. This woman and her then fiance now Husband have spent time teaching English overseas and plan to head out again soon. I was so inspired by her carefree spirit and wanted her blooms to reflect her personality.
Since the setting was a rural farm we made sure that her bouquet looked like she just came in from picking an arm load of wild flowers. The colours were totally up to us so we kept the bouquets pretty and light with shades of pink, purple and white. The larger pieces also had yellow in them to compliment the claret coloured linens.
Although we were only responsible for the flowers I wanted to share pictures of all the details. Check out the bunting flags, hand painted signs and the sweet personalized glasses.
Congratulations Laine! We wish you the best in all your travels and were so happy to be a part of your extra special day.
How stunning is she??? |
